As a part of Tunbridge Wells Motor Club I helped out at a revival of the Horseless Carriage Exhibition, Tunbridge Wells being the venue for the first ever exhibition. Held on the historic Pantiles, a fantastic venue to showcase some incredible motor cars, it included this Aston Martin DB4GT Lightweight, a race winner in the hands of Sterling Moss.
*Relief printing is a method where the image is drawn (backwards) on a smooth block of material (in my case vinyl), and the non-printing part of the image is carved away. The surface of the block is inked and transferred to paper. I use a hand cranked press which has a flatbed that passes between two rollers. Each colour in an image is a separate carving.
