The inspiration for this scene came from a Visit to the Spa Francorchamps Circuit for the Spa Classic in 2015. I drove there with my brother in his MG Midget and camped just outside the circuit. At the circuit we had access to the pits area where we could park the MG amongst the competing cars. We watched from above the old pits where we could look down at the cars as they pitted during the races.

Frames are solid wood, 20mm wide, 33mm deep and supplied with a hanging kit. Frames can be natural wood (light), white or black.
*Relief printing is a method where the image is drawn (backwards) on a smooth block of material (in my case vinyl), and the non-printing part of the image is carved away. The surface of the block is inked and transferred to paper. I use a hand cranked press which has a flatbed that passes between two rollers. Each colour in an image is a separate carving.
